Open canoe

Richard has canoed extensively in Europe and further afield. His main love is multiday trips including six trips to Northern Scandinavia and a trip to the Mountain River in Canada. Richard acts as Technical Adviser for several organisations. Richard can provide training and assessment for British canoeing 1-3 star awards and FSRT.

Kayak

Richard has been kayaking for over 20 years mainly on the rivers of South Wales. The river Wye and Usk are beautiful rivers offering various options for differing abilities.

Gorge walking

Richard can act as Technical Adviser for gorge walking activities in South Wales. Richard has completed many canyons in Europe and further afield.

mountain walking

Richard started hillwalking in the Lakes as a youngster. He has walked all the peaks of England and Wales. Richard loves being out in the hills and is now introducing his family to the hills of Wales.

mountain biking

Richard has been mountain biking for over 30 years. Richard knows the routes in the Brecon Beacons well and has completed several multi day trips including three trips to the High Atlas of Morocco and the Southern Upland way in Scotland.
